Powerstone’s Kylie Decker Receives “Save a Life” Award from Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF)

Foundation Honors Ms. Decker for Her Dedication in Helping Improve the Care, Quality of Life, and Survival of All Children with Cancer at the 41st Annual Bid for The Kids Gala Event.

Rene and Kylie DeckerIRVINE, CA (NOVEMBER 9, 2023) – Powerstone Property Management Inc., a full-service Orange County, California-based property management firm, announced today that Kylie Decker, Director of Community Management, received the “Save a Life” award from the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) at the 41st Annual Bid for the Kids Gala event held November 4th. The event was attended by one hundred fifty benefactors and supporters of PCRF which focuses on cutting-edge research to find a cure for children with cancer. The theme of the event was The Future Starts With Me.  Jeri Wilson, Executive Director of PCRF made the presentation and shared how Kylie’s involvement and dedication has been an inspiration for the foundation which is celebrating its 41st anniversary. She said: “Kylie’s enthusiasm is contagious, and she has helped her company Powerstone, a partner since 2011, to raise over $1,000,000 to help fight childhood cancer.” Kylie, in receiving the award, spoke of her involvement with PCRF through her best friend Casey whose sister Samantha was diagnosed with Leukemia at 15 and now at 32 is cancer-free. Kylie said: “While I haven’t directly experienced the harrowing impact of childhood cancer within my own family, the profound influence it has had on me stems from my involvement in the organization itself. Through this remarkable organization, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the resilience of survivors and the unwavering strength of their families. Their stories, their struggles, and their triumphs have illuminated the path I walk, compelling me to continue to contribute to this cause.”

Yearly, Powerstone Property Management holds an event which Kylie organizes, that includes a silent auction and raffle, created by Team Powerstone, and supported by its corporate partners, for the last twelve years.
